How to Backup Palo Alto Firewall Config Print

Once you login to the Firewalls go to Device >> Setup >> Operations

1- Click Save Named Configuration Snapshot

2- Save using format as config_20230201_MF-PAN-01 (config+date+PAN)

3 -Click on Export Named Configuration Snapshot

4 - Click on Export Device State save as PAN-01-device_state_cfg_02012023 (PAN+device_state_cfg+Date)

5 - Go to Downloads on your desktop and move them to the paths below accordingly:

G:\Shared drives\IT Shared\Backups - Sensitive\Palo Alto\Device State PA-450

G:\Shared drives\IT Shared\Backups - Sensitive\Palo Alto\Saved Name Configuration Snapshot PA-450
