This is how to resolve the Windows showing Offline message that appears once in a while and doesn't allow Outlook to connect.


We do have a GPO for this but can also do manually.


Open GPEDIT.MSC >> Computer Configuration >>Administrative Templates>> Network >> Network connection Status Indicator >> Specify global DNS >> Enable




If the GPO is not applying correctly, you may need to rename the .POL file that contains policies.
